The SHAWL Organization has two transitional housing facilities that aid women as they are transitioning from the primary 6-month program. Haviland House provides 11 women a safe and comfortable drug, alcohol and violence-free atmosphere where they can remain an additional 18 months to two years while they are in school and employed and can continue their case management plans to maintain ongoing sobriety and freedom from homelessness and domestic violence. Residents pay $375 rent and a $15.00 supply fee monthly to live at Haviland House. Residents follow rules established by SHAWL to help maintain the atmosphere of safety.
