The mission is to support women alcoholics in achieving long-term sobriety in a safe, supportive and structured alcohol/drug-free environment through guidance and education. Turning Point is a Social Model recovery program with an emphasis on wellness rather than sickness. We encourage residents to participate in all areas of life that will help facilitate a healthy and successful transition back into the community. We have a large local community network that enables us to make appropriate referrals to vocational training and job placement programs, continuing and adult education, volunteer opportunities, community clinics dealing with physical and mental health, as well as other community assistance programs.
