About Hope Center
The Hope Center's mission is to care for homeless and at-risk persons by providing life-sustaining and life-rebuilding services that are comprehensive and address underlying causes. The Emergency Shelter is the first-stop for most Hope Center clients. Last year, the shelter provided nearly 160,000 meals, more than 70,000 nights of lodging, 7,500 healthcare services and 40,000 articles of clothing. The Privett Center houses the men's recovery program. There are currently 134 men in the program. Sixty-one percent of the men who enter the Hope Center report a history of substance abuse. More than 250 men entered the recovery program this year.
