In 1968 a physician, a pharmacist and a police officer came together to respond to a growing substance abuse problem in their community. They gave their time, effort and money and founded an organization that has changed lives for some 4 decades now. As a result of their commitment and desire to make a difference in the lives of people seeking help, Drug Abuse Foundation was born. Our mission is to serve as a united team, working together to deliver the most qualitative, cost-effective and responsive services possible; always choosing to be challenged by faith rather than driven by fear; in the pursuit of creating environments where people find what they need to change their lives. Priority is given to the following individuals in the provision of services: Pregnant women using IV drugs, pregnant women using any substance, IV Drug Users, and parents putting children at risk.
